Rembrandt is on a mission to help his friend find her meow. They set off on their adventure, but soon run into some trouble. This was a cute story about friends looking out for each other. I think kids will love both of the cats.

“This is a very sweet story of a cat who has lost her meow. She meets Remy, who says he will Callie find her meow. They go on an adventure to find Callie's meow.

The message of the book is that children will speak when they're ready or they need to and there's no hurry to speak. It's a very sweet book and I would absolutely buy it for a child.”

“This is a children's picture book about 2 cats called Remy and Callie who become friends and Remy helps Callie to find her voice. The book has beautiful illustrations and a nice story about friends who help each other and take care of each other. It shows that it is ok not to be able to do the same as another person, such as speaking. In the book, the cat only spoke when she was ready to. This can be useful to show a child who has not yet spoken; to let them know that it is ok to speak when they feel ready to do so. I read this book with my daughter and she enjoyed it, although the book was a little bit long for her to concentrate on and it was a bit repetitive. However, it was still a good book and one that we will read together again.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and Netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.”

“This was a special read for me, because one of my most faithful companions ever was a Tuxedo cat named Boots. We spent nine years together, and like Rembrandt in the story, he loves to go outside and roll in the dirt. He was an alpha male, for sure.

In this cute, little picture book, Rembrandt makes a friend, a pretty calico who can’t meow, so he vows to help her go looking for it, and they have lots of adventures while on the hunt.

It’s out in October, and it had an indie feel, in the best possible way. I loved the artwork and the story. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for the further adventures of Rembrandt.”

“The Adventures of Rembrandt the Tuxedo Cat by Marah Walk Carroll is a short story about Remy helping a new friend find her meow. The story is paired with cute, child friendly illustrations. The story and the amount of text per page may be good for a young reader. The themes of making friends and helping friends are a nice teaching point, as well.
